Augustus Harris was the manager of the Drury Lane Theatre from 1879 until his death in 1896.
Considered the father of modern Pantomine and much loved for his lavish productions, his penchant for good food and drink led to him being known as one of the great bon vivants of the time.
You can find a fetching bust of him on the corner of Catherine Street and Russell Street.
